We are lucky in having Richard Pierce DMD, a graduate of Boston University School of Dentistry. Dr. Pierce brings new skills to the practice which he has refined over the past 10 years. These include Invisalign ( invisible braces for adults), Modern Endodontics ( root canal therapy that can be performed in one short painless visit) as well as some surgical, periodontal and implant skills. He is also well versed in the study of "occlusion" (the bite and grinding tendencies) and has been very successful in rebuilding patient's mouths that have been constantly plagued with worn down teeth or constant breakage. Dr. Pierce is a warm, caring family man with 2 young children. He also has a wonderful way with people, partially due to his growing up in the Bangor area of Maine. As an aside, he is a rabid Red Sox fan and recently had his photo taken with the World Series trophy. It will be posted here shortly.
